The Finer Things is a helpful, reliable and extremely professional business. They were accurate and fair in their pricing at my tag sale and sold most everything; some of the items that they did not sell were taken to their shop and are being sold there. They made clearing out my parents' home of 40 years easier and more profitable than I anticipated.
They are very knowledgeable and did a great job in promoting and advertising the sale with excellent results. They predicted very specifically what would sell and what might not and prepared me for the results, which far exceeded my own expectations.
I was paid immediately after the tag sale and their records are accurate and accessible. They also have access to charities, thrift shops, etc. which makes final disposal of items that are not sellable easy and beneficial to those in need.
They were a delight to work with and all of their staff were 'on it' throughout the entire process.
I highly recommend them......and their shop has some beautiful items that need to be seen to be appreciated.- Gregory T.

When I was moving from Huntington to Raleigh N.C. I took my collection of treasured Antiques and decorative items to the Finer Things for consignment. They did not take everything, which was O.K. but chose what they felt they could sell and get the best price for on my behalf. The checks started coming before I left N.Y. ! I have been extremely happy with the results. The things I thought would sell in time did .More importantly the things I didn,t especially like,or thought little of sold for a very nice price!!! Not every thing has sold yet,but the checks still come at a nice pace. These Ladies really know their stuff! They were able to educate me on several of my items as to their value. Such as a small landscape painting with dogs that I got at a yard sail for $7.00. They recognized the local listed artist and sold it for me for well over $1.000. I cant promise you will all have such good fortune,but I can tell you that these are two very knowledgeable and professional business women! I recommend them very highly! Don,t miss their Estate sales, I have been to several of them and they get into the all the best houses!!!!
